Aravest’s new office, following its acquisition by Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing (SMFL), represents a fresh and exciting new chapter for its private fund operations. The space, developed in close collaboration between Conexus Studio and Aravest’s leadership, embodies the firm’s regional ambitions. Designed to inspire growth and innovation, it seamlessly caters to the collaborative needs of both Aravest and SMFL teams, setting the stage for shared success in the heart of Singapore’s iconic Capital Square building.

Elevating Brand Perception with Sophisticated Style

Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian design, this shared workspace highlights a harmony of timeless elegance and modern practicality. Visitors are greeted by a minimalist glass entrance framed by a luminous halo that beckons them into the striking reception area. A distinctive mix of light wooden elements, tinted mirrors, ambient cove lighting, and pale marble flooring create a polished yet inviting atmosphere that underscores the firms’ commitment to transparency and reliability.

A Strategic Layout Tailored for Privacy and Accessibility

The office layout thoughtfully balances privacy and openness, with focused work areas for Aravest and SMFL strategically positioned at opposite ends of the office to ensure discretion and productivity.

In contrast, the visitor-facing spaces—such as the reception, boardroom, training rooms, and pantry—are anchored in the middle of the office for ease of access, aligning with the Scandinavian ethos of simplicity and functionality. Amongst these shared facilities, the pantry serves as a vibrant hub for both work and casual interactions, with a striking collage of iconic artworks like Hokusai’s The Great Wave and van Gogh’s The Starry Night, providing a unique backdrop that encourages connection and rejuvenation.

Design Details to Optimise Functionality

In line with the office’s minimalist design, acoustic wall finishes play with monochromatic shades and patterns in the smaller meeting rooms, ensuring confidentiality while maintaining visual interest. Frosted double-glazed glass in the larger conference room and boardrooms provides excellent sound insulation without sacrificing natural light. The integration of greenery throughout the office enhances the atmosphere, infusing a sense of calm vitality while improving air quality. These verdant accents harmonise with the modern office design’s wooden elements, subtly improving well-being and productivity through a biophilic approach. To support Aravest’s and SMFL’s global operations, the office is equipped with state-of-the-art meeting facilities to ensure smooth, seamless communication with clients and international teams.
