A Synergy of Connections

The story of Conexus (a portmanteau of “Connect” and “Nexus”) Studio began when our founders met for the first time in 2009.

Brendan Khor, the charismatic business leader with a massive heart for others, and Aviruth “Moo” Trungtreechart, a creative visionary who embodies confident humility. They came together like yin and yang, growing together to become venerable leaders in the regional commercial design scene.

Spurred by a calling to drive a new era in workplace design, the duo established Conexus Studio in March 2019. They were joined by others with a shared belief: that modern office spaces should empower people to do their best work. With this, the Conexus team was born.

Five years on, our passion for designing the future workplace still drives us every day.

Brendan Khor

Founding Director

Spanning more than 20 years, Brendan’s illustrious career has seen him picking up design awards across the globe and featured regularly in leading Singapore newspapers. Notably, the eloquent conversationalist was invited to speak at the 2016 bizSAFE Convention, having led his team to be the first interior design firm to win the bizSAFE Partner Award two years in a row.

Prior to founding Conexus Studio, Brendan oversaw the growth of a 90-strong commercial interior design firm as its Executive Director, generating a five-fold revenue surge in 8 years. His enviable client list includes MNCs, Fortune 500 brands and household names, including Keurig Dr Pepper, Huntsman Corporation, The BBC, Olympus, Rakuten and Decathlon.

Nevertheless, he’s rarely preoccupied with numbers, devoting his energy instead to his projects and clients. A people person at heart, Brendan lives for the joy of serving others. Beyond fulfilling the needs and desires of his clients, he’s the ultimate advocate of preserving the value of empathy and humanity in each relationship, personal and professional alike.

Aviruth “Moo” Trungtreechart

Founding Design Director

Moo, as we all call him, has always known his passion for design, but it wasn’t until a life-altering experience that he found his calling to improve the way people lived and worked. For him, this starts with planning layouts that maximise a space’s functions and elevate its purpose .

Moo has a keen eye for innovations that transcend trends, as well as cutting-edge ideas that converge on the artistic and pragmatic. Lauded for his steady hand and critical head, the mild-mannered design visionary and seasoned practitioner thrives in spearheading the design process and leading his teams to deliver innovative solutions.

He has more than two decades of experience under his belt, directing a smorgasbord of high-profile office design projects with international firms such as Deloitte, FrieslandCampina, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Takeda, and Nu Skin. A paragon of warmth and patience, unshackled by ego, the values-driven design director loves to mentor the next generation of emerging talents in his spare time.

Nat Jentraichan

Associate Design Director

Based in both Singapore and Bangkok, Nat’s passion for globetrotting gives her an edge in knowledge of the latest trends in the fast-moving Asian design scene. The well-rounded creative has won tens of interior design awards at the helm of a multitude of projects in her career. Yet, she cares little about accolades, and more about creating highly functional spaces that bring joy to others.

She is a versatile interior designer with a knack for hitting the sweet spot every time when it comes to balancing her client’s wants with her expert input. One of her greatest strengths is her ability to put herself in her clients’ shoes, thus gaining an intimate understanding of what works for their office environment.

Well-loved and easygoing, Nat finds meaning in capturing the emotions of people through purposeful interiors. Never one to recycle past works, she strives to top herself with each project, continually bringing new ideas and perspectives to the table.
