Banking on Hybrid

Bordier Singapore partners with Conexus Studio for its hybrid office renovations.

With multiple office design awards already under its belt, Swiss private bank Bordier & Cie has always been at the forefront of workplace innovation. It's latest office transformation sees the bank teaming up with Conexus Studio to revamp its office in response to the pandemic, in a move towards increased flexibility and collaboration through hybrid working environments.

“The Pandemic gave us a chance to rethink how office layouts would look like, and we decided to reduce the office space and make it a more fluid environment, where people could work more in teams, more together, instead of working alone in their single desks,” says Mr Evrard Bordier, the Managing Partner and CEO of Bordier & Cie in Asia.

Highlights include a variety of communal desks, including some located within sculptural timber 'cage' pavilions, resulting in teams that are now more connected and productive than ever before.

“We are very delighted to see that not only does it help our staff to feel comfortable, but it’s also a very interesting architecture element for visitors as well,” says Bordier.

The bank’s new website has just launched, and it features Mr Bordier taking viewers on a video tour of the revamped office space. See the space in action and check out Bordier & Cie’s new website here.

“I have known the team for nearly 10 years and done several projects with them. As a boutique institution ourselves, we appreciate the quality as well as the understanding and dedication of the management at every level. I recommend using them without question.”
