8 SG Marks and Counting!
It was a thrill to join the luminaries of the design world at the prestigious SG Mark Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner last week, an unforgettable event hosted by Design Business Chamber Singapore. This was indeed a special evening for us all, as we celebrated a decade of the illustrious SG Mark award and brought home our 8th award in the last 4 years.
The special evening struck a chord the moment we entered the venue, where we were greeted by awe-inspiring exhibits presented by the Singapore Fashion Council. These exhibits were a testament to the magical fusion of design excellence and sustainable fashion impact, a theme that resonated throughout the evening.
This year's Special Category spotlighted sustainable design and fashion impact, including the UNI Green Series, whose design team pioneered a sustainable method to breathe new life into uniforms while providing retired garment workers with valuable employment opportunities.
Seated among remarkable individuals and organisations who had poured their hearts and souls into their award-winning projects, we felt truly privileged. It was an incredible honour to share the spotlight alongside our esteemed clients — Evident Scientific Asia-Pacific, Sartorius Singapore, and Decathlon Singapore. These outstanding organisations each received the prestigious SG Mark 2023 award in the ‘Spatial Design’ category.
What made these workspaces truly remarkable was that they went beyond mere aesthetics; they served as catalysts, igniting the spark that inspires employees to deliver their absolute best. The Evident Scientific Asia-Pacific office housed Technology and Microscopy Centers, fostering a cohesive community. The Sartorius office harmonised its dynamic work culture and innovation, while Decathlon's office pioneered collaboration amongst agile digital teams.
